A former NFL [National Football League] defensive back who played over 11 seasons for three teams. Rich was a walk-on for University of Hawaii team in 1981 and became an all WAC defensive back in 1983 and 1984. In 1985 Rich was drafted in the 6th round by the New York Jets with whom he played six amazing seasons. Then Mr. Miano went to the Philadelphia Eagles where he played another four more fantastic seasons. In 1995, he played for the Atlanta Falcons and then after retiring with a tremendous history in the NFL, Rich moved back to his home in Honolulu, Hawaii where he became the Associate Head Coach with the University of Hawaii. He played his college career there and wanted to give back to those who gave so much to him. After 14 years of teaching thousands of young people the art of FOOTBALL, Miano gives back again by becoming the head coach for the Henry J. Kaiser High School, his alma mater. Rich also is the president of Hawaii Speed & Quickness Camp that teaches young players in all sports the physics of Speed and Agility needed to be competitive today in any sport.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Chad left the islands to pursue his Olympic career in power-lifting. During that time he set several U.S. Olympic records for his weight class. Chad later transitioned into his present role as a strength and conditioning coach. Chad returned to Hawaii after a highly successful training professional career in Arizona with college and elite High School athletes. Chad has accumulated over 26 years of experience and a unique background in strength and power sports. With over 11 years of athletic experience in World-Class competition and 15 years of professional coaching in strength and conditioning. Chad understands the requirements for athletic success. He places a priority on building strong communicative relationships with every athlete and aggressively develops their mental focus, physical preparation and athletic performance.
